One of Fish Hoek murder suspects was out early on parole

His body was almost unidentifiable. And what will make it even worse for Robert Sonnekus s family to come to terms with his death is that one of his alleged killers was out early on parole for murder.
The handcuffed 52-year-old Sun Valley resident was shot several times in the head after an apparent armed robbery. His vehicle was found stripped in Mitchells Plain and his body located at a sand mine in Macassar, four days after being reported missing by his son, Jesse Sonnekus, at the Fish Hoe
