For residents, it’s not just wasted water, but wasted trust in a system that’s meant to serve them.WaterCAN says the city’s failure to timeously deal with leaks is an indication that it simply doesn’t know what it’s doing. The city says it’s currently working to clear its water leak backlog and has also committed to attending to the Randburg church’s five-year leak immediately. eNCA’s Nabeelah Shaikh reports.
